CONFERENCE CODE OF CONDUCT
ARROW Girls in Tech is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, fun and educational conference experience for all involved. To ensure that there is a common understanding of the respect and courtesy we expect demonstrated throughout the event, we have created this code of conduct. All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at ARROW are required to abide by the following code of conduct. Only with everyone’s participation can we ensure a safe environment for all present at ARROW.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexuality, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, technology choices, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Because all our attendees are minors, sexual imagery and language is not appropriate in any context.
The organizers will ensure this code of conduct is followed. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately, and organizers may take any action deemed appropriate, ranging from warning the offender to expelling the offender from the conference. If you are being harassed or feel unsafe, or notice someone else is being harassed, please contact a member of ARROW staff immediately. ARROW organizers and volunteers will be wearing ARROW shirts.
Thank you for helping to make ARROW as enjoyable and inclusive as possible! We hope you enjoy your day with us!
